STANDARD LAND SURVEY
This is a traditional boundary survey. It locates the boundaries and determines the area, and it may include rights of way and easements within or surrounding the parcel.
LAND TITLE SURVEY
A Land Title Survey is a comprehensive investigation and evaluation of factors affecting boundary locations, ownership lines, rights of way, and easements within or immediately surrounding a property.
TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY
Topographic Surveys gather information to be depicted on topographic maps, which are used by landowners, engineers, architects, planners, and developers to design the development of a site, landscaping, flood control, runoff of surface water, and various other purposes.
PLATTING/REPLATTING
A plat is a map document based on a survey that shows land subdivision, land classification, or a change in property boundaries and is required before building permitting
METES & BOUNDS
A metes and bounds legal description starts from a point of beginning, then traces the outline of the property's boundary lines until there is closure in the legal description.
ALTA/NSPS LAND TITLE SURVEY
An ALTA Survey is a specialized Boundary Survey of a property that adheres to strict standards developed by the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS).
CONSTRUCTION SURVEYS
A construction survey is used to provide horizantal and vertical staking of the location of proposed buildings, structures, or facilities prior to and during construction according to engineering and architectural plans.
